It’s so hard to believe 2019 is coming to a close. I honestly don’t know where the time went. What I do know is that I got into a gaming slump and re-played a few older games. I missed out on quite a bit this year and I still want to get and play some of these games.
Kingdom Hearts III
Can you believe this game came out in January? I feel like it was just released not too long ago. I feel extra behind now!
I have never played a Kingdom Hearts game, but I would love to give the series a try, despite what everyone says about it. Kingdom Hearts III seemed to be a good starting point since no one seems to understand the story anyway.
Cadence of Hyrule
I was so ready for this game. However, when it came out this summer, I was barely home. The Switch Lite hadn’t come out yet and I didn’t have my main Switch at all while I was away. I wasn’t able to play any games even if I did have Cadence of Hyrule. Not only did I not play it though, but we also haven’t even bought it yet.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3
I haven’t played any of these games, but this seems like a solid one. I enjoy the Marvel characters and they just recently announced X-Men characters joining. So, it’s still something on my list.
This was one of those games that I couldn’t wait to come out and amid the waiting, I promptly forgot about it. I love mystery games and this looked different than the ones I normally play. Of course, it’s on Steam and I don’t play PC games that often. I think that’s why it fell to the wayside for me.
Untitled Goose Game
I don’t know. I just want to see what all the fuss is about or this game.
Ring Fit Adventure
Honestly? I didn’t want to spend the money on this one, but I’m still eager to try it out. I put it on my Christmas list, so we’ll see. Maybe I will get the chance to try it before the end of the year.
Honorary Mention: Celeste
I have no excuses for this one. I really, really need to play this game. (And yes, I know this didn’t come out in 2019.)
