Kris and I have been playing around with our SNES Classic a lot lately. So many games bring back nostalgia, so here are some of my favorites.
5. Super Mario Kart
I’ll admit that I don’t remember playing too much of Super Mario Kart when I was a kid. I think I was too young. I do remember watching Kris play it with my Dad sometimes and our other older sister. Playing it now is fun, but… I’m not very good at it.
4. The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past
I’ll be honest with this one too. I don’t think we ever really played this game. My Uncle used to play it a lot because my grandparents had a SNES. Still, it’s Zelda. You can’t go wrong.
3. Yoshi’s Island
I love Yoshi. Any game that stars Yoshi is wonderful to me. I had completely forgotten about this game until I saw it on the classic and I can’t wait to play it again.
2. Donkey Kong Country
The last time I played this was a couple years ago on the Wii Ware. Kris and I thought it’d be fun to play again but we never finished it. One, I got my wisdom teeth out and we just forgot about it. Two, we couldn’t get past a certain level like children. So… yeah.
1. Super Mario RPG
This one brings back the most memories. Kris used to play this one a lot as it was her favorite. I’ve never played it myself but always looked forward to watching her; especially the mine cart part. I don’t know why, but that was my favorite part of the whole game.
