Pokemon Playthrough

Rachel Mii Double JumpHappy Tuesday!

With the news of Pokemon Sun and Moon coming out in a couple of months, I’ve decided I’m going to go on a full journey before November!

The seventh generation of Pokemon is coming in November 2016. That’s five months away.

I’ve played through the games before many times, of course. However, I’ve gotten farther in some regions over others.

I decided that in anticipation of Pokemon Sun and Moon coming out, I’m going to go on my own Pokemon journey through the games from the very beginning.

Via 9gag.com
I will play the games as such…

June: Pokemon Blue
July: Pokemon Crystal
August: Pokemon Emerald
September: Pokemon Platinum
October: Pokemon Black
November: Pokemon Y
December: Pokemon Sun or Moon

What bothers me about Unova and Kalos is that there’s no third installment to the games. I decided to stick with Black over Black 2 because… I don’t really know why. My mind may change.

Also, I’ve beaten and gotten really far in X so I’ll play Y for November.

Sun and Moon come out November 18. I most likely won’t get the games until the end of November, so I’ll play the seventh generation come December.

I’ll post a review of each game at the end of each month. Be sure to follow Double Jump on Twitter and Tumblr. I’ll post updates through there using #PokemonJourney. I hope you’ll join me!

I’m going to catch them all (maybe) and be the very best (we’ll see about that one).

Will you go on your own journey while waiting for the new games?
