Friday Favorites: 1-2 Switch Games

Double Jump Kris MiiHappy Friday, everyone!

Going off of Rachel’s last Top Tuesday, I thought I would share the few 1-2 Switch mini games that I do not mind. Granted, 1-2 Switch is not a game that I play on a regular basis, but the few times Rachel can persuade me to turn it on, there are some mini games I won’t complain about.

Ball Count

If I were to have a favorite aspect about 1-2 Switch, it would be how well it shows off the technology of the console and the Joy-Con. Ball Count showed just how sensitive the Joy-Con were with the simulated marbles “hiding” in the controllers. I was amazed at the technology and enjoyed the challenge of the mini game.

Treasure Chest

This fast-paced puzzle mini game is a real challenge and it’s hilarious trying to focus and beat your opponent in it.

Zen

Yoga is pretty fun — I don’t do it often at all nowadays, but I remember enjoying the unit whenever I did it during P.E. and fitness classes back in school. Also, going against Rachel, who can barely keep still is awesome.

Quick Draw

I love the fast reflex games, and Quick Draw was tons of fun. It was simple, yes, but proving that you’re the fastest when it comes to pushing a button? Very satisfying.

Boxing Gym

The boxing mini game is one of my favorites, mostly due to the fact that I grew up wanting to be Batman, partner up with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and know all sorts of martial arts. Play this game a few times in a row, and it’s a decent mini workout. Win-win!

Do you have any interest in the 1-2 Switch games? Any that you didn’t actually mind?

      • I played milking the cow and Copy Dance. I also watched the shaving game and Quick Draw. I liked Copy Dance, but I wasn’t a big fan of what I saw or played of the other three. I think they’re funny, but I wouldn’t say they caught my eye.
