There is a wonderful person out there in the world and his name is Kaze Emanuar. He creates hacks of the classic Super Mario 64. I found out about him through a YouTuber I watch quite often. He did a play-through of Mario Chaos, which was a super chaotic version of Super Mario 64 made by Kaze Emanuar. It’s a game I’ve been wanting to play myself but haven’t gotten around to. Well, now he’s struck again and this time, we downloaded it.
This particular hack is a multiplayer online mode. Rachel and I were in separate rooms until I heard her pipe up, “We need to get this!” It honestly took a little while for me to download the hack considering I haven’t used emulators in a few years. Nevertheless, we seemed to have prevailed, for initial test-runs appeared to have worked.
Super Mario 64 Online is just a new and improved hack of Super Mario 64 where you can play with others online. I believe the latest I heard was that you can play with up to 24 people. In the same level. You can play hide and seek in the levels, race each other, and more. It’s sure to get chaotic but a lot of fun.
Obviously being online means you have your own screen to look at instead of trying to share a screen in a multiplayer mode. Of course, the number of people you can have on your server without your game crashing depends on how strong your Internet signal is, but it definitely seems like fun!
Yes, that’s true. Being a hack, who knows how stable it actually is. Still, it’ll be worth a shot. This game has a bigger cast of characters to play as: Mario, Luigi, Toad, Yoshi, Wario, Waluigi, Peach, Rosalina, etc. They each have one unique ability from the others and I’m eager to give them all a try.
You’ll be able to see some examples from the video down below. Some have greater speed, more hit points, and Yoshi kept his extra floaty jump. I can only imagine how interesting it’ll be to play with friends all while trying to reach the same goal. We’ll either be a great team or try to sabotage each other to get the star, haha!
Are you going to try this game? Let us know in the comments below and we’ll chat!
