One of our favorite YouTubers is PeanutButterGamer and, this year, he’s bringing back Zelda Month. He’s been doing Zelda Month during November for the past few years that we’ve been following him (except for a year or two where he took a break and deemed it Mario Month) where he celebrates one of his favorite franchises by devoting his videos to it. We thought we’d do a little celebrating of our own this month as well.
The Legend of Zelda is one of our favorite gaming series and we’ve always wanted to spread the word of Zelda Month and participate in it ourselves. So, there’s a few ways we’re going to celebrate this beloved franchise. One way is this blog. If you’ve been following us for a while, you know we write posts together on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Each post we do together will be about The Legend of Zelda. Our solo posts may or may not be about Zelda, but at least our shared posts will be.
Here’s hoping you guys won’t be over-saturated with Zelda posts, haha! It’s a fantastic franchise, one that’s probably one of the most spoken about on our blog because we enjoy the games so much. We’ll also be celebrating Zelda Month over on our Twitch channel, hoping to focus our joint streams — most Fridays, perhaps a Saturday or two — on playing a Legend of Zelda game.
The game we chose to stream is one we haven’t played in a very, very long time. We’ve always played it together and we were excited that we got the console to work and stream the game. We’re looking forward to it! In addition to that, we’ll be reviewing that game along with another Zelda game or two. We’re going to visit a Zelda game neither of us have ever played before thanks to the NES Classic.
So, we’re very excited and looking forward to this month! We hope you are as well! Let us know what you think of Zelda month, or if there’s another franchise you’re looking forward to celebrating!
