Japan's Pokemon Cafe

Double Jump Kris MiiI totally wanna go here!
I recently heard of a certain cafe that just recently opened in Japan, dedicated to a certain franchise… Pokemon!
Japan tends to have some cool-themed cafes, and the latest one to join the craze is the Pokemon Cafe.
The pictures of the place look clean and fun, with plenty of Pikachu images adorning the cafe and menu. The menu itself looks adorable (and tasty!) that star mostly Pikachu, with a few Eevee, Mimikyu, Jigglypuff, and Gengar-themed items. Along with food, sweets, and drinks, there is also merchandise available, like coffee cups and plushies of a Pikachu dressed as a waiter or chef.
If I ever make it to Japan one day, you can bet that the Pokemon Cafe will be on my list of places to visit! Apparently, though, you can only get in with a reservation. Right now, they’re taking reservations until the beginning of April. I presume they do reservations on a monthly basis.

What do you think? Would you ever visit a Pokemon Cafe? What other games would make good themed cafes?

  1. Whilst it isn’t one I’d visit, I’d love to go to one of the video game themed cafes over there. The only one I’ve been to here is all the way down in London, and I don’t know of any others.
