Top Tuesday: Favorite Breath Of The Wild Shrines

Happy Tuesday!
Kris and I finally got all 120 shrines in Breath of The Wild! This was no easy feat for us and now that we’ve seen all the puzzles, I thought I’d talk about my favorite ones.

5. Blessings
The Blessings were some of my favorite shrines mostly because they were usually hidden. I loved exploring the open world so it was so satisfying to come across a hidden shrine.
4. Twin Memories
This is two shrines, the Shee Vaneer Shrine in the Dueling Peaks tower region. All you have to do is visit both and remember what you see and put an orb inside certain holes. It’s like a memory game and I enjoyed that.
3. Bravery’s Grasp
This is the Ishto Sho Shrine in the Wastelands tower region. This one is all about timing and using the tools you have (Stasis) to solve the puzzle. I enjoyed the ones that needed good timing skills. It can be a lot of waiting, but they’re clever nonetheless.
2. A Major Test of Strength
I loved all the tests of strengths. The major ones the best because they were, of course, harder. I especially loved when we came across these shrines in the beginning of the game because it was hilarious watching Kris try to beat them.
1. Shrine Quests
Some of the shrine quests were blessings, but some had puzzles on the inside. My favorite part about these were that they were hidden by a riddle or just were not in plain sight at all. You really had to work to find them and it allowed you to explore parts of the land you hadn’t been to yet.

Did you find all 120 shrines? What were your favorite puzzles? Let me know in the comments below and we’ll chat!

  1. Twin Memories was awesome! And I also loved the shrine quests.
I can’t say the same about the tests of strength, though.
